Challenge

Processing high volumes of regulatory and compliance data from heterogeneous external sources — SFTP endpoints and REST APIs — while guaranteeing reliability, scalability, and data consistency across frequently evolving regulatory feeds.

Approach

Architected a message-driven ingestion framework on Spring Integration with protocol-specific adapters: streaming SFTP adapters with checkpointing for large file transfers, and rate-limited, fault-tolerant REST flows with retry and backoff policies.

A canonical normalization layer via message channels and transformers unified all incoming formats before persistence, decoupling source variability from downstream consumers.

Outcome

Pluggable architecture that onboarded new regulatory data sources with minimal engineering effort. Fault-tolerant pipelines with zero data loss ensured compliance-grade reliability. Consistent canonical output accelerated downstream analytics and reporting.

Challenge

A mature enterprise compliance platform had accumulated years of business logic inside a tightly-coupled monolith — scaling bottlenecks, slow release cycles, and mounting technical debt were blocking growth. The migration had to happen without halting product delivery, and without the risk of a full rewrite. Three hard distributed-systems problems had to be solved head-on: eventual consistency across service boundaries, distributed transaction coordination, and inter-service latency keeping SLAs intact.

Approach

Strangler Pattern decomposition Mapped domain boundaries using DDD to identify high-impact, lower-risk extraction candidates first — indicator management, analytics, authentication, administration, and data integration. Each was extracted behind an anti-corruption layer and routed via an API gateway, allowing the monolith to remain live while services were carved out incrementally. New features were delivered in extracted services from day one, not after migration completed.
Latency was contained through asynchronous messaging for non-critical paths and synchronous REST only where strict consistency was required — with circuit breakers and fallback mechanisms to prevent cascade failures.

Outcome

Delivered a cloud-native, independently deployable service ecosystem without a single production freeze or big-bang cutover. New features continued shipping throughout the migration, eliminating the traditional cost of "stop the world" modernization. Each extracted service — indicator management, analytics, authentication, administration, and data integration — became independently scalable and releasable, dramatically reducing deployment risk and enabling teams to operate autonomously. The observability layer established during migration became the production-grade foundation for ongoing reliability engineering.

Challenge

Algodon N Colors required a centralized solution to manage supplier quality inspections, production measurements, defect tracking, and manufacturing status updates. Manual processes and fragmented data made it difficult to maintain quality standards and gain visibility into production performance.

Approach

Worked closely with business stakeholders to analyze existing quality assurance and supplier inspection workflows, then designed a centralized ERP module that digitized the entire quality control lifecycle. Architected interconnected processes covering order initiation, pre-production planning, measurement compliance, inline production inspections, stitching and trims monitoring, and defect management. Established a structured master data foundation for buyers, suppliers, products, measurements, and quality standards, enabling consistent reporting, real-time production visibility, and improved decision-making across quality and manufacturing operations.

Delivered a streamlined quality assurance workflow that improved production visibility, standardized inspection processes, enhanced supplier quality management, and provided a single source of truth for quality and production-related data across the organization.

Querying this knowledge required specialist time and carried high latency and inconsistency risk. The product had to be delivered as a standalone, multi-tenant SaaS platform with subscription lifecycle management, domain-restricted onboarding for financial institutions, and a compliance-grade answer quality bar — while integrating tightly with the existing DMS and workflow infrastructure.

Implemented intelligent automation using NLP and predictive models to classify, route, and process documents autonomously.
